Many thanks for coming to our GLOSS event in Gunpowder Park. Everything seem to go off ok. The only complaints were about the heat, but unfortunately that is something we cannot control.

I really enjoyed planning my first non-street orienteering course and am deeply grateful to Tony Maycraft and the rest of the CHIG leadership team for their support. I was mostly just relieved on the day that everything went smoothly and the only complaints were about the heat, but I did feel slightly guilty about how thistley access to some of the controls had become since my initial recce! It isn’t easy to come up with challenging route choices or technical control sites in Gunpowder Park, but I hope you had to think a few times rather than just flying easily from each control to the next!
