The first race of the Central Line Street-O series for 2019/20 was held at Wanstead on Thursday 26 September. Some 24 entrants ran on course planned by CHIG’s Alan Brett. Top score on the night went to Ed Catmur from SLOW with 558.6 after time penalties. Elaine Battson from LOK top scored among the ladies with 344, despite some hefty time penalties. Miriam Rosen from LOK takes 100 league points for winning the handicap scoring.
Members from seven orienteering clubs took part, along with several members of East London Runners and independents.
