The orienteering club for Epping Forest with members across North & East London, East Hertfordshire and West Essex. The clubs membership is open to all ages and abilities. We host events in locations such as Hainault, Wanstead, Epping Forest, Lea Valley, Broxbourne, Harlow and Sawbridgeworth. These events offer a variety of courses suitable for kids, families, adult beginners and experienced orienteers.

Five CHIG winners in final SWELL standings!
SWELL is over for another years, and the final league standings are now available. Congrats to CHIGs Marcus Blowers on winning Orange and Jonathan Albon on winning Brown. Sue Carter finished the top ranked female on the Blue course and Henriette Klovstad the top ranked female on Brown. In the combined Adult league, Jonathan finished third – missing the Claybury event proving costly, while CHIG’s Julie Warwick-Munday was the top ranked female. See more >>
CHIG Qualifies for British Club Champs Finals
Chig won the Compass Sport Trophy qualifier at Thetford Warren on Sunday 19 February by a margin of 7 points, beating LOG into second place. The result means CHIG will compete at the finals on 30 September 2012 organised by RR on Teviothead, Scottish Borders, 32 miles north of Carlisle. Book the date for the final now in your diaries! CHIG hosts Southern Championships 2012
In September 2012, the Capital Weekend sees SLOW host the City of London Orienteering Race on Saturday 22 September 2012 followed by the Southern Orienteering Championships 2012 in Epping Forest on Sunday 23 September 2012. More details here!
