Hertfordshire & Essex Schools League
2009-10 is the third year of the schools league for schools on the Hertfordshire & Essex borders this coming autumn. Chigwell & Epping Forest Orienteering Club will promote the competition to schools and youth groups.
In conjunction with the Hertfordshire Orienteering Club (HH), Havering and South Essex Orienteering Club (HAVOC) and Essex Stragglers Orienteering Society (SOS) four events will be held up to Christmas with a further four in the New Year.

Clubmark
Clubmark is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
Chigwell & Epping Forest Orienteering Club is Clubmark accredited.

British School Score Championships (BSSC)
The BSSC is held annually in October and is aimed at school teams comprising junior orienteers of all abilities in school years 5 – 13.
The 2009 Championships was held at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 10 October 2009. Seee the event results here.
The 2010 Championships will be held at on 9 October at Witton Park, Blackburn, Lancashire.
British Schools Orienteering Championships (BSOC)
This BSOC is held annually in November and provides a good level of competition for junior orienteers with a wide range of abilities in school years 5 – 13.
The 2009 Championships will be held on 22 November 2009 at Druridge Bay Country Park, Northumberland. Click here for details and entry form.
