The South East League is a competition open to all Clubs, Groups and Schools in the region who wish to compete. Subject to some exceptions, all regional events registered in the South-East are used as league events. From 2011-12, some events may be included in the league that are Level C events, provided that the full range of colour courses (Black, Brown, Short Brown, Blue, Short Blue, Green, Short Green, Light Green, Orange & Yellow) are offered and that it is held on an appropriate area.

Further details regarding the South-East League, including scoring rules, are available on the SEOA SE League page.

The CHIG website includes, subject to availability, fixtures and standings information.

What are ‘Regional Events’?

  • These events are suitable for advanced improvers and more experienced orienteerings seeking a more demanding challenge than SWELL events. They are “Level B” events.
  • Generally online pre-entry is used for these events with entry fees between £9 and £12 in advance, with entry on the day more expensive (if available).
  • Lift-shares are often available – club committee members can usually provide contacts if required.
