Directions:

From M25/A406:    At J27, take M11 south to J4 where the M11 splits and turn left, following A406 east. Turn off the A406 after c. 1 mile onto the A12 at the Redbridge Roundabout, and take A12 south. Take the 2nd exit, A1008 to Wanstead. Go through the traffic lights, pass George Green on your left, then turn left down Blake Hall Road (A1008, becoming A114). Continue to the first mini roundabout and turn left, A116 Aldersbrook Rd. Follow this for c. ½ mile then turn left onto Harpenden Road and Aldersbrook Primary School is on the left.

Public transport:   Take 101 bus from Wanstead Underground station (direction Manor Park) and alight at Harpenden Road.

 

Car Park:               Aldersbrook Primary School. Car Park fee – £1 per car; otherwise on street parking nearby along Northumberland Avenue towards the junction with Wanstead Park Ave.

Start/ finish:          Approx. 200m from school.

Terrain:                 An ideal mix of fast runnable areas and tight complex woodland. An attractive setting around several lakes.

Courses:               Yellow, green and Green extension.

Times:                   Registration & start: 10.00 – 11.30am

                               Courses close:        13:00

 

Facilities:              Toilets and tea hut in park next to lake, c. 200m from school.
