CHIG win at Stragglers Relays
CHIG’s relay team of club captain Harold Wyber, Tony Maycraft, Tom Edelsten and Alan Brett won the 2015 Stragglers Relays at Wivenhoe Park near Colchester. Mastering some tricky well-planned courses around the Essex University campus, a combination of fast running and a solid race strategy saw CHIG finish the 4 x Yellow, 3 x Orange and 2 x Light Green legs in the fastest time. CHIGnition finished 4 seconds in front of one of the NOR teams who unfortunately mispunched. SUFFOC Hawks finished second, 1:06 behind.
