Club Championships Update

Dear CHIGs

I hope you are all well, enjoying the summer and training hard (!). This email is to remind you that the re-scheduled Club Champs is due to take place on Saturday 4 September at the same venue as the postponed event in June, Epping NW, with starts from 10.30 – 11.30. After consultating with the Committee, I will be able to confirm in due course whether there will be a Social at the Suntrap Education Centre.

Hopefully there will be a flyer on the club website early next week, but initial information is as follows:

• parking at High Beech
• registration, start and finish together in a forest-location within 300 metres of the parking
• shortish ‘Middle Distance’ races making optimum use of the best of the Epping NW map with courses featuring shorter legs, changes of direction and a spectator control
• 4 different courses with all Club Champs categories included within them – Open Men (5.6k), Vets Men/Women (3.8k), Vet Women/Intermediate Juniors (2.7k), Junior/Novices (1.9k)

I look forward to seeing you all at the event in just over 3 weeks.
