Family Fun Run Sunday 18 April 2010

Join CHIGs in supporting Loughton Town Mayor’s Charity Family Fun Run

Sunday 18 April 2010

CHIG will be helping Loughton’s Town Mayor to raise money for The Dream Factory, a local charity which helps to brighten the lives of children with life-limiting, life-threatening or severe disabilities. I, with the help of Josh Jenner will be running an orienteering-based activity (naughty numbers), alongside the fun run, which members of the public can pay to try out (it takes a few minutes).

It would be great if we could have some CHIGs entered into the Fun Run.  It will take place on Roding Valley Recreation Ground, near the tennis courts, IG10 3BT, at 10:30 am.  It’s a family event, not a race, and is open to anyone who feels able to participate even if they wish only to walk the course.  It will not be timed but all participants will receive a medal!

The event is also being supported by Loughton and Buckhurst Hill Athletic Clubs and South Loughton Cricket Club.  So, if any of you fancy a little exercise in a fun environment while raising money for a good cause, come along on Sunday 18 April;  £10 adults; £5 children.   An entry form is available here: http://www.loughton-tc.gov.uk/1aamcrun.pdf
